🎨Students in Miss Perko’s Art class worked through understanding their primary colors and how they interact when colors are mixed together. Using air dry clay, they played a game called Bon Appetit where students were the “chefs”. They served up pretend fruits to their classmates before they combined colors to create art. 🍌🫐🍊

Viking Fest taking place Saturday October 24th from 2:30-6:00p 🎃 Grab a friend, a lawn chair, and a cooler and buckle up for incredible fall family fun! 🤩

🔠 First grade joined classes for a shared activity. They worked together to build their names using popsicle sticks. After that, they had to think of a design and worked together to build that as well. Teamwork, critical thinking, and literacy all mixed into one lesson 🙌

We are so excited to have our middle school STEM teacher, Mrs. Ryherd, featured on ScienceCoach.org speaking about Addi N. (8th grade) and her unique science fair project! We’re looking forward to our STEM fair on February 5, 2027 where we will have an evening with dinner and have STEM projects on display for viewing from students from K-8!

🏃🏃‍♀️Congratulations to our Cross Country Athletes who ran State this past weekend! All of our runners did a great job representing Green Park athletics. 🏅We even had two runners, Jacob C. (8th) and Madeline B. (4th) as two state medalists! We are so excited for them 🥳

🏆Congratulations are also in order for our girls A1 volleyball team who took home 2nd place in the Holy Cross Collinsville tournament this weekend. 🏐Way to show up shining for Green Park! Way to go, Vikings!
