St. Louis Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The Saint Louis Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered on January 11, 1998.

The Saint Louis Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter was established under the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. mantra of sisterhood, service and scholarship on January 11, 1998. A group of forty reclaimed and five active Sorors committed to calling themselves to a "higher order" of purpose. Armed with a rich legacy, they established a chapter grounded in the spirit of sisterhood, which focuses on leaders

hip development, through the five-point programmatic thrust. By using creative initiatives they sought to reclaim and retain Sorors in the Saint Louis Metropolitan area. "Come Home To Delta and Bring Your Sister With You" is the mantra of the chapter, and this vision for the chapter was given to Soror Cora Cade Lemmon and our Charter Members. This chapter was established and principled upon educational excellence, public service and leadership development. The chapter provides an extensive array of public services aimed at a five point programmatic thrust. Since its formation, the Saint Louis Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter activities have involved Delta members as volunteers in direct services, catalysts for community action, recruiters of interagency support, and leaders in networking and partnership building with other organizations.

Today, we pause to remember lives lost and to recommit to the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Over the years, our understanding of the HIV epidemic has grown thanks to data—allowing prevention, treatment, and care to reach the right people at the right time. High-quality data also helps us track progress, close gaps, and ensure no one is left behind.

Together, let’s continue to advocate, educate, and uplift.

❤️✨ SHOUTOUT to our powerhouse Arts & Letters Committee! ✨❤️
Sorors, family, and friends showed up and showed OUT for our chapter outing to see The Wiz! The production was nothing short of spectacular — vibrant, soulful, and absolutely worthy of the Delta Red Carpet.

And because we always add that EXTRA Delta touch, every guest received a beautiful commemorative ornament to celebrate the moment. 🔺🎄✨

After the show, we enjoyed an exclusive Q&A session, and the cast was warm, welcoming, and full of personality. They even posed for a group photo with us — talk about star power meeting sister power!

It was a day of culture, connection, and pure Delta excellence.
