Next month a new journey begins.

The AMI Primary Diploma Course at MTCSTL is more than a training program—it’s a transformative experience that prepares adults to guide young children with knowledge, confidence, and purpose.

Over the course of the year, students will explore Montessori philosophy, child development, observation, and the art of creating environments that support the natural growth of the child. They will join a community of passionate educators dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and families.

If you’ve been considering taking the next step in your Montessori journey, now is the time. We can’t wait to welcome our next cohort of adult learners and future Montessorians!

Welcome back to our AMI Primary Diploma Course students!

We are so excited to spend these final weeks of learning, reflection, and growth together before graduation. Over the past 15 months, these dedicated adults have immersed themselves in the study of Montessori education, deepening their understanding of the child and the role of the guide. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished.

The journey of becoming a Montessori guide is one of discovery, transformation, and purpose. As we enter this final month, we look forward to celebrating their achievements and this important milestone alongside them.

Here's to meaningful work, supportive community, countless cups of coffee, and the lasting impact these future guides will have on children, families, and communities around the world. 💙

Practical Tools for Professionals and Caregivers

We’re excited to bring an AMI Certified Montessori for Dementia, Disability & Ageing (MDDA) Workshop to St. Louis this July — a rare opportunity to learn directly from the internationally recognized Montessori approach to dementia and ageing.

St. Louis MTCSL Workshop
Monday & Tuesday | July 22–23, 2026
Montessori Training Center of St. Louis

What makes this workshop different:
AMI was founded by Dr. Maria Montessori herself in 1929 to preserve the integrity of Montessori philosophy and practice internationally.

The MDDA approach applies Montessori principles to ageing, dementia, and disability support in practical, evidence-informed ways that promote dignity, independence, purpose, and connection.

Participants leave with tools they can immediately apply in senior living, healthcare, therapy, home care, or while supporting a loved one personally.

AMI’s MDDA trainer community is intentionally small and internationally trained, making workshops like this uncommon in the United States.

I’m honored to teach this workshop as an AMI Trainer in Training under the mentorship and supervision of Anne Kelly, Head of Montessori for Dementia, Disability & Ageing for AMI and one of the leading voices in this work internationally.
