We’re breaking ground on something big. 🔨

Rung recently celebrated the groundbreaking of our new Career Center — a dedicated space designed to help women navigate their careers, build confidence and pursue new opportunities.

And we couldn’t resist giving our guests a chance to help us get things started, one sledgehammer swing at a time. 😉

The new Career Center will expand the ways we support women, with resources and coaching to help them search for jobs, prepare for interviews, strengthen their resumes, and more!

We’re excited to build what comes next, and we're so grateful to everyone helping make it possible.

A year ago, the women of Cohort 9 began their Rung journey. Yesterday, we celebrated just how far they’ve come.

Congratulations to our newest Rung Alumni! 🎉

Over the past year, these women invested in themselves, built new skills, stepped outside their comfort zones, and supported one another along the way. Through training, career coaching, simulations, and countless hours of hard work, they’ve grown both professionally and personally.

But their Rung journey was about more than career skills. They built community, found their voice, and gained the confidence to take on what’s next.

Now, as Rung Alumni, they’ll carry that momentum forward—continuing to grow their careers and opening doors for the women who come after them.

Help us celebrate Cohort 9 and all they’ve accomplished! 💜

On Thursday, Rung President & CEO Leslie Gill joined the Gateway Jobs Initiative panel to talk about a shared goal: driving true economic mobility in St. Louis. In her role as Senior Advisor for Inclusive Prosperity Partnership, she highlighted the initiative's focus on connecting locals to quality jobs that reinvest in our city. As they build out their network for the rest of the year, they are actively looking for job seekers. If you know someone looking for a career upgrade, send them their way!

It’s one thing to learn a new skill. It’s another to build the network that helps you launch it.

Last week’s Her Network Her Power event excelled in both. We heard from an insightful panel of women representing our skill tracks: Courtney Rayford (IT Support), Kimberly Rayford (Project Management), Shingai Kamoto (Data Analytics), Coco Farrell (Digital Marketing), and Nanci Breunig (Advanced Manufacturing).

After the panel, members and community partners spent the evening networking and building the relationships that drive real career momentum. Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought such great energy to the room!
