Twelve years later, Ferguson continues to move forward through honest conversation, collaboration and action.

The Urban League’s Federation of Block Units brought community leaders together at our Ferguson Community Empowerment Center for “Our Beloved Communities: Ferguson—A 12-Year Reflection.” Built on the former QuikTrip site, the center provided a meaningful setting to reflect on Ferguson’s journey and the work still ahead.

The program featured Michael P. McMillan, Mayor Adrian Shropshire, Michael Brown Sr., Pamela Westbrooks-Hodge, Paula E. W. Carey-Moore, Dr. Kendra Holmes, Chief Juan Cox and Chief Troy Doyle, with Raven Whitener serving as moderator.

Special thanks to Federation of Block Units Director Farrakhan Shegog for organizing the event and to every community leader who joined this important conversation.
