Sarah’s new baby is in the NICU.
Sarah and family are on the crux of creating a better future for themselves, and life has added another heavy cross.
Chad was recently hired by the county and was so proud to start his new job.
Then their new baby, Aceson, got sick with E. coli and another virus at the same time. He was hospitalized two days ago - sent by ambulance to Children’s Hospital, very dehydrated, and diagnosed with pyloric stenosis. He is in the Nicu.
Sarah has been staying with him the past few days while they try to stabilize him. That means Chad needed to be home with the other kids because they have a virus. The plan was for Sarah to come home now that baby is more stabilized and for Chad to go to back to work, but HR just called a little bit ago and said that he was being let go. Chad is going to contact the higher up boss, give him the paperwork proof from the hospital, and hope that they will keep him on. We are praying big prayers!
Meanwhile, since Sarah has been recovering from a C-section, she has not been able to work. This family needs help to make ends meet. Their current bills due are:

- School supplies
School starts in 10 days and the family cannot afford any of the school supplies.
I know we hear a lot about this family, but the Lord has put it on my heart to understand that the poor are always with us, and it’s not because they have chosen to be poor or because they want to beg for money. It’s extremely embarrassing to have to ask for help month after month or year after year. This family is praying to God for help. It’s my hope that they will see Him acting in their lives with love and generosity and not judgment. This family always tries their very best.
