I chose to run for congress in the wake of a public school crisis involving multiple violent attack throughout our nation. Noting the responses we hear from the left and right sides threatened compromise to 2nd amendment rights and to leave our children vulnerable to attack, whether from one another or school staff, respectively, I knew our nation needed me to offer my background in mental health and population management as well as a more balanced, modern perspective.

In support of the democratic process, I am committed to providing choice and fair representation to my district 2 neighbors rather than stand by and let Republican Representative, Ann Wagner, run uncontested! While Ann has done a wonderful job to this point, changing times call for changes in our approach and modernization of our messaging to reach all constituents. Furthermore, it is essential to the function of our government that our people have fair representation and the ability to select the best candidate.
