Attention KWUR alumni in the St. Louis area:

KWUR 90.3 FM is WashU's student-run radio station, dedicated to playing underground artists since 1976. Student leaders in the organization are seeking advisors to guide them in operational and logistical management. Our organization is seeking 1-2 KWUR alumni to be advisors. An advisor is ideally available to offer expertise and guidance no more than 3-4 hours a week in the following areas:

-Radio and station management

-FCC and licensing compliance

-Student leader personnel training

-Communications and promotions in the music industry

-Live music event planning

-Long-term strategic planning

The qualities of an ideal advisor is someone who:

-Is familiar with radio or student media management

-Passionate about connecting local community through music

-Is ideally connected to WashU, KWUR, or the local St. Louis radio/music scene

-Is willing to volunteer time to supporting initiatives spear-headed by college students
