Afternoon tea at Oakwood this past weekend was a wonderful time for our AASH community! We are grateful to Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton and our incredible RSCJ who welcomed us with open arms for a day of companionship and celebration.

Spending time with our RSCJ is always a privilege; moments like these remind us of the joy and strength of our AASH family.

Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton hosted their annual Alumni Day this fall. From a Très Bien Luncheon and Alumni Mass to diploma and awards ceremonies, the day reunited Sacred Heart friends across generations.

“The day was filled with Sacred Heart spirit, love, and laughter, as we welcomed back alumni from classes 1957 to 2020, RSCJ, family, faculty, and friends,” said Shannon Melinauskas, Atherton’s Alumni & Past Parent Engagement Manager.

Several alumni traveled internationally from countries including Germany and Peru to attend the celebrations. “Golden” and “Diamond” Diplomas were presented to alumnae celebrating their 50th and 60th class reunions, by SHS Director of Schools, Richard A. Dioli, and Nancy Morris, RSCJ.

“It is so touching to see our alumnae pick up where they left off and come forward as their names are called to receive a diploma and a rose on the exact spot where they graduated from high school 50 and 60 years earlier,” said Melinauskas. “Some even curtsey, just as they did 50 and 60 years ago.”
