Get yer boots on and get ready for the Bike Rodeo, coming to town on Sunday, Sept. 13 at the Thomas Dunn Learning Center in Dutchtown from 1-3 p.m.!

Our bike rodeos are FREE for kiddos of all ages, and they're a perfect opportunity to practice bike skills like braking, turning, riding in a straight line, and signaling. No matter if your kiddo is 2 or 12, this rodeo will help solidify their skills and build their confidence.

Be sure to bring your kiddo's bike and helmet, as we'll only have a few extra on hand.

You don't need to stay the entire two hours, though you can if you want! Feel free to stop by anytime between 1-3 p.m.

Help Paint Marquette Plaza!

Dutchtown Main Streets, Dutchtown South, Friends of Marquette Park, Thomas Dunn Learning Center, Trailnet, and other community partners have received an Open Streets permit from the City of St. Louis to temporarily close Compton Avenue through Marquette Park through Aug. 31, 2026.

Now it's time to transform the space!

Trailnet is leading a community street painting project to create colorful pavement art that encourages kids to bike in the closure!

We'd love your help bringing this vibrant community space to life.
Volunteers are needed to help prepare the street for painting and add the finishing touches. Our goal is to complete the project by Friday, July 24, in time for upcoming community events.

Volunteer Shifts
- Wednesday, July 22 | 5–7:30 p.m. — Street cleanup and surface preparation
- Thursday, July 23 | 9–11 a.m. — Initial street painting
- Thursday, July 23 | 5–8 p.m. — Continue painting
- Friday, July 24 | 9–11 a.m. — More painting and final touch-ups (if needed)
