Meet the NAMI On Campus Officers at Saint Louis University! 💙🤍

💚 Arya Mahajan, a Health Management pre-PA student, was inspired by personal experience to help create a space where students feel safe speaking openly about mental health. He emphasizes that no one is alone in their struggles and prioritizes wellness through working out, grounding practices, and mindfulness.

💚 Yash Kukreja, an Exercise Science major in the Medical Scholars program, is focused on bridging physical and mental health care. He is passionate about normalizing conversations around mental health in high-pressure academic environments and believes real change starts with honest dialogue and peer support.

💚 Anastasia Migdalovich, a Neuroscience major, is driven by mental health awareness and believes it impacts every part of a person’s life. She encourages students to prioritize themselves and remembers the importance of rest, music, movement, and community.

💚 Vidhi Arora, a Neuroscience pre-PA student, highlights the importance of balance and openness, especially in competitive spaces. She values events that create space for students to decompress, reflect, and learn healthy coping tools like meditation and routine care.

Together, they are working to build a more open, supportive, and stigma-free campus community around mental health! 🫂

Mental Health Awareness Month is a time to uplift voices, share stories, and create spaces where healing can happen—and that starts with community. 💚

We are now seeking dynamic, engaging proposals for breakout sessions and speakers for our Pathway to Hope Conference, centered on this year’s theme: hope, healing, and resilience.

We’re looking for sessions that are culturally responsive, community-informed, and rooted in lived experience. Topics may explore everything from breaking cycles of family trauma and holistic healing to Black joy, grief and loss, faith and mental health, and supporting caregivers and leaders.

We especially encourage proposals that are interactive, offer practical tools, and reflect diverse perspectives—because we know real impact happens when people feel seen, heard, and connected.

Whether you’re a clinician, advocate, community leader, or someone with lived experience, your voice matters in this space.

📄 Submit your proposal by going to https://www.namistl.org/pathways-to-hope-conference/
📩 Our team will follow up after submission
