Alicia Hinton, a Doctor of Business Administration candidate at Concordia University Wisconsin is currently conducting a research study examining the experiences of post-9/11 female veterans with legacy veteran service organizations, specifically the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

As part of this research, she is seeking female veterans residing in the Midwest who have interacted with either organization. )The flyer provides additional information about the study, eligibility requirements, and how interested individuals may participate).

No Veteran should be unhoused or on the verge of homelessness!

I say this and yet, this is year 3 that we’ve not been able to move back into the home my family has lived in for 100+ years.

We are still seeking board members and volunteers!!

After a 3-year arduous journey of basically begging others for help after:

> getting our roof burned,
>massive water damage,
>a contractor stealing our Insurance money,
>pipes bursting,
>last year’s tornado,
>incompetent insurance claims adjusters,
>scandalous public adjusters,
>organizations making promises and then reneging…

I’m depleted!!

Greater St. Louis veterans where is the help???

I’m helping my 88- year old mother to get back into her house…. No one is helping after countless connections….

Don’t forget to do an “ Intent to File” It can protect an earlier effective date for benefits while you prepare the full claim. You generally have one year from the Intent to File date to submit the completed claim.
