Born in the Netherlands in 1935, Eva and her family were imprisoned in Westerbork during the Holocaust and remained there until liberation. Following the war, she lived in St. Louis with her cousin, Shirley Heiman's family and attended Washington University.
Today, Eva is an internationally recognized speaker and educator. Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear her powerful story of survival, resilience, and remembrance.

Happy Pride!

In 2007, Edie Windsor married her longtime partner, Thea Clara Spyer, in Canada because same-sex marriage was not yet legal in the United States. When Spyer passed away, Windsor was denied the legal benefits afforded to married spouses. She took her fight all the way to the Supreme Court, helping pave the way for marriage equality under the law.

On Sunday, May 24th, Jewish War Veterans Post 644 hosted their annual Memorial Day program at the Museum. We thank all the veterans for their service and honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
