Missouri Veterans Endeavor Long-term supportive housing for veterans and their families experiencing homelessness. MOVE-STL was established in 2012 under the name of U.S.VETS – St. Louis.

Missouri Veterans Endeavor (MOVE-STL) is a non-profit that provides long-term supportive housing and clinical case management to Veterans and their family members experiencing homelessness or at-risk of experiencing homelessness. We changed our name to Missouri Veterans Endeavor on July, 1st 2016 and became an independent non-profit to better serve those Veterans experiencing homeless and at-risk of experiencing homelessness in the St. Louis region. MOVE-STL is a small apartment complex located at Natural Bridge and 170. The site has 7 triplexes with 21, 2 bedroom units. Currently, MOVE-STL houses 22 Veterans, 4 dependents, and 7 children on our site. We provide a wide range of wraparound services including clinical case management, employment assistance, job training, sobriety support, counseling, linkage to community resources and long-term supportive housing. Since opening our doors, we have housed over 200 Veterans, connected over 1,200 Veterans with resources in the community, and have helped over 220 Veterans obtain employment. Our goals for our Veterans are to help them address any of their individual barriers, including finding meaningful employment, enhancing their overall quality of life, maintaining sobriety, connecting with family and their community, maintaining their mental and physical health regimens, and transitioning from our site into permanent housing in the community.

Support doesn’t end when immediate needs are met.

At MOVE, we continue walking alongside Veterans and their families as they work toward greater independence, whether that means securing permanent housing, advancing in their career, or reconnecting with family. 🤝

Through consistent guidance and support, we help Veterans build a stronger foundation for a stable, independent future.

A big thank you to Kenneth Schaaf, owner of Brix Urban Winery and Market in Ste. Genevieve, MO, for providing a delicious BBQ lunch for our Veteran residents! 🍖

He also brought lots of cleaning supplies and non-perishable items for our community. We’re so grateful for Kenny’s continued support of MOVE STL and his commitment to giving back to the community. Our residents enjoyed a great meal and fantastic hospitality. 🍽️

Thank you, Kenny, for the care you have shown our community!

A couple of our team members here at MOVE, Mary and Ashley, recently attended the 2026 Missouri Behavioral Health Conference in St. Louis, joining behavioral health professionals from across the region for three days of education, networking, and collaboration.

Staying connected to the behavioral health community helps us continue learning about the resources and support that can make a difference for our Veteran residents and those in our Valor Harbor program. 🧠💙

Thank you to the Missouri Behavioral Health Council for putting on such a great and educational event!

One of our incredible clinical case managers, Mary Harris, a Veteran herself, helped set up the Flags of Valor event in St. Louis, Missouri last month to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11, the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice, and service members lost during the War on Terror.

With thousands of American flags displayed across Art Hill, the event served as a powerful reminder of the lives and sacrifices we will never forget. ❤️🤍💙

We’re so proud of Mary for helping bring this meaningful tribute to life and grateful to have her on our team here at MOVE.

Healing looks different for everyone. That’s why MOVE provides Veterans in our programs with access to individual, group, couples, and family therapy.

These services give Veterans a safe space to process their experiences, strengthen relationships, and build healthy coping strategies for moving forward.

We’re here to support our Veterans and their families every step of the way. 👣💙
