Sista Project - Stl Aware The SISTA Project is a program of Washington University School Of Medicine. The university does not endorse commercial enterprises.

http://wustl.edu/policies/wustl-identity.html The SISTA Project is group where young women ages 18-24 come to talk, chill and share their experiences. SISTA stands for Sisters Informing Sisters on Topics of AIDS and meets for six weeks to discuss issues affecting women of color in a safe and supportive environment. Below is an overview of the six weeks below:
Week 1: "I'm proud to be a Woman of C

olor!" (Ethnic and Gender Pride)

Week 2: "What the real deal about HIV/STD's?" (HIV/STD's 101)

Week 3: "How can I talk to my partner?" (Communication)

Week 4: "Oops! The condom broke!" (Sexual Negotiation)

Week 5: "Blame It On the Alcohol!" (Substance Use and Risky Sexual Behavior/
Coping Skills)

Week 6: "Let's Celebrate Us!" (Graduation)

Please join us on Tuesday, February 7th for National Black AIDS Day! The AWARE team will be showing She NYCE's production of My Life: Young and HIV+ from 2:00pm- 4:30pm to commemorate the day. There will be refreshments and prizes for those in attendance.
