Bridging Families to Communities & Beyond A primary focus of Bridging Families to Communities and Beyond is training individuals for employment in the construction trades.

Our two component service-learning construction training program will provide participants with both classroom and hands-on construction training. Participants will learn construction skills by constructing new housing or substantially rehabilitating existing housing. The housing that is produced through the service-learning construction component will be rented to moderate, low-income, very low-i

ncome, or homeless families or individuals. All income generated from the properties will be used to sustain the programs of Bridging Families to Communities and Beyond. Our desire is for each of our units to be a special place in which trainees can take pride in the construction skills they learn as they create positive, comfortable and affordable living environments for the people that will occupy the units. Additionally, new and renovated housing promotes community, well-being neighborhood improvement and regeneration.
