At the Home, Sister M. Bernard serves us in Pastoral Care. She visits the residents, prays with them, assists the residents during mass, and manages the flower arrangements in the Chapel. We love you Sister M. Bernard!!

The church celebrated the 800th anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi’s death last weekend! St. Francis is very dear to the community of Sisters that sponsor the Home, and to our administrator Sister M. Anselma! In her News From Home article this month, Sister M. Anselma remembers this quote from St. Francis:

“May the power of your love, O Lord, fiery and sweet as honey, wean my heart from all that is under heaven, so that I may die for love of your love, you who were so good as to die for love of my love.”
