Following our participation in the SixThirty CEO Summit, CEOs and business leaders shared powerful affirmations for our youth. This past Sunday, those words came to life at our first Future CEOs & Innovators Affirmation Ceremony!
Our young people were celebrated, encouraged, fed, presented with gift bags, and most importantly reminded that THEY can become tomorrow’s CEOs, engineers, pilots, entrepreneurs, innovators, and technology leaders.

An Incredible Day at the 2026 SixThirty CEO Summit!
What an incredible experience!
STEM on Wheels was truly honored to participate in the 2026 SixThirty CEO Summit. We were invited into a room filled with CEOs, innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders and we walked away inspired by the knowledge, wisdom, conversations, and genuine spirit of collaboration we experienced.
First, we want to give a very special shout-out and heartfelt thank-you to Stacy Erker Event Strategy. Stacy, thank you for inviting STEM on Wheels into this experience, for your guidance throughout the process, and for helping us prepare to present our organization and mission to this extraordinary group of leaders. Your support and hospitality meant a great deal to our entire team.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Atul Kamra, Managing Partner of SixThirty, for the leadership behind an organization that is creating connections between innovative startups, established institutions, investors, and industry leaders. We also want to recognize members of our own team who helped make this day possible.
James Lee, one of our STEM on Wheels instructors, thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and continued commitment to giving young people meaningful, hands-on STEM experiences.
And a special thank-you to Ms. Lakeisha Turner, who is providing mental health classes that parallel the STEM on Wheels curriculum. As we expose young people to STEM education and career opportunities, we also recognize the importance of supporting their personal development and well-being.
But something especially powerful happened at this CEO Summit.
We asked the CEOs and leaders in attendance to participate in the STEM on Wheels mission.
Each CEO wrote a personal letter of encouragement to a future young innovator.
Those messages are being placed inside STEM on Wheels Discovery Gift Bags. As students complete our curriculum, they will have the opportunity to receive one of these bags along with a personal affirmation from an accomplished CEO or business leader who believed in that young person's potential before ever knowing who would receive the message.
Imagine a student opening that bag and discovering that a successful CEO took the time to write:
Keep going. Believe in yourself. Ask questions. Don't be afraid to fail. Your ideas matter. Your future matters.
That is bigger than a gift bag.
That is exposure, encouragement, education, and opportunity coming together.
At STEM on Wheels, we believe the equipment is important. The technology is important. The aviation simulators, robotics, coding, circuitry, drones, AI, and hands-on experiences are important.
But those are tools.
The young person using them is the future.
We cannot thank Stacy, Atul, Molly, the SixThirty team, the CEOs and leaders in attendance, Jermez Lee, Ms. Lakeisha Turner, and everyone who contributed to this experience enough.
This collaboration was an incredible success, and STEM on Wheels is grateful to have been invited to the table.
Talent is everywhere. Opportunity should be able to travel.

🚀 STEM ON WHEELS + 4 WALLS AND BEYOND and the STL URBAN LEAGUE for the EXPOSURE, OPPORTUNITY & A BRIGHTER FUTURE! ✈️🚁🤖💻💡

STEM on Wheels was honored to participate with Mrs. Lisa Porter and 4 Walls and Beyond at their Back to School Event, Urban League Expo Community Empowerment, both were a tremendous success!

The excitement and engagement from the youth reminded us exactly why this work matters. For many young people, opportunities like this may be their first chance to see, touch, operate, and understand technology connected to high-demand STEM and aviation careers.

Our students didn't just hear about STEM they experienced it hands-on!

✈️ Pilot Simulator & Aviation Theory Youth stepped into the role of a pilot while learning basic principles of aviation and flight.

🤖 Dash Robotics Students interacted with robotics technology and explored how robots can be programmed to complete tasks.

💻 Block Coding Youth were introduced to coding concepts and learned how instructions can control technology.

💡 LED Lighting & Electronics Students explored hands-on applications involving LED technology.

🚁 Drone Theory & Application Youth learned about drone technology, operation, and its growing real-world applications.

The young people were engaged, curious, excited, and ready to learn. That is the spark STEM on Wheels wants to turn into a pathway.

✈️ OUR VISION: HELP CREATE 100 NEW PILOTS IN THE ST. LOUIS AREA

STEM on Wheels is working to build a STEM-to-career pipeline for underserved youth throughout the St. Louis region.

Our vision extends beyond creating future pilots. We want to help hundreds of young people discover pathways into careers such as:

✈️ Pilots
🎧 Air Traffic Controllers
🛫 Air Transportation Professionals
🚁 Drone Operators
🤖 Robotics and Technology Professionals
💻 Programmers and Coders
⚙️ Technicians and Systems Specialists
🔧 Engineers and other skilled STEM professionals

We want young people to understand that these are not simply demonstrations at a community event. These can become real careers.

Our goal is to expose youth to career pathways that can position them to pursue six-figure earning potential by age 24.

BUT EXPOSURE IS ONLY THE FIRST STEP.

Some St. Louis teens have already started pilot training, but their progress has stalled because of the significant financial cost associated with flight instruction and completing aviation training.

Imagine having the ability, determination, and desire to become a pilot — but having to stop simply because the funding isn't there.

STEM on Wheels wants to help close that gap.

We are seeking individual donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, aviation companies and professionals, STEM funders, workforce-development organizations, educational partners, and community leaders who are ready to invest in our young people.

Financial support can help us:

EXPOSURE → EDUCATION → TRAINING → CERTIFICATION → CAREER

It can provide hands-on STEM experiences, equipment, aviation education, flight-training assistance, mentorship, career exposure, and opportunities for young people who otherwise might never have access.

Another great night of programming with STEM on Wheels as we continue building our Flight Ready STEM & Aviation Pathway!

Tonight, students explored how LED technology works and learned how combining red, green, and blue (RGB) light creates millions of colors used in televisions, cell phones, air traffic control displays, information systems, and countless other technologies we use every day.

The students were highly engaged as we combined classroom theory with hands-on learning. Participants designed circuits, worked through engineering challenges, and gained practical experience applying STEM concepts in real-world situations.

It was exciting to see their enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to learn. The students did an outstanding job following instructions, asking thoughtful questions, and successfully completing their circuit designs.

As always, Ms. Lakeisha did a phenomenal job connecting the science of LED lights to an impactful mental health discussion, helping students understand how different elements can work together to create something brighter and more powerful—just as our thoughts, emotions, and support systems contribute to our overall well-being.

Experiences like these help students connect STEM concepts to future careers in aviation, technology, engineering, and beyond.

Today I want to introduce you to something powerful…this is Remi, who just turned 9 years old 🎉

What you’re seeing is his personal STEM Lab his very own space to learn, build, explore, and create. This isn’t just play…this is preparation.

At STEM ON WHEELS, we believe in listening to our youth and using their input to design and develop curriculum that truly connects. Remi represents exactly what that looks like when it’s done right. He has been preparing for well over two years, and today, at just 9 years old, he is already one of our top young instructors in robotics.

Now he’s taking it even further working toward teaching aviation and piloting concepts to other youth his age.

This is how we ensure our curriculum is age-appropriate, engaging, and led not pushed. We meet them where they are, build their confidence, and develop those memory muscles early.

Recently, Sean Duffy announced that the U.S. Air Traffic Control program is looking to recruit gamers into the field. That’s powerful—but here’s the reality:

We’re already TWO YEARS ahead.

By the time Remi reaches age 12, he will already have the foundational skills, discipline, and mental conditioning it takes to pursue a career as an Air Traffic Controller—a profession currently earning around $145,000 per year.

I would also like to take a moment to thank his father for believing in and supporting this vision—one that will not only position Remi for success at the highest level, but will also bless and impact so many other youth along the way.

This is how we change lives.This is how we build pathways.This is how we keep the American Dream alive for our young people.

And most importantly…this is what happens when God places you at the forefront of purpose.
