STEM on Wheels STL

STEM on Wheels STL STEM on Wheels is not just an organization, it’s a movement to educate our youth to reach any dreams.

Today I want to introduce you to something powerful…this is Remi, who just turned 9 years old 🎉

What you’re seeing is his personal STEM Lab his very own space to learn, build, explore, and create. This isn’t just play…this is preparation.

At STEM ON WHEELS, we believe in listening to our youth and using their input to design and develop curriculum that truly connects. Remi represents exactly what that looks like when it’s done right. He has been preparing for well over two years, and today, at just 9 years old, he is already one of our top young instructors in robotics.

Now he’s taking it even further working toward teaching aviation and piloting concepts to other youth his age.

This is how we ensure our curriculum is age-appropriate, engaging, and led not pushed. We meet them where they are, build their confidence, and develop those memory muscles early.

Recently, Sean Duffy announced that the U.S. Air Traffic Control program is looking to recruit gamers into the field. That’s powerful—but here’s the reality:

We’re already TWO YEARS ahead.

By the time Remi reaches age 12, he will already have the foundational skills, discipline, and mental conditioning it takes to pursue a career as an Air Traffic Controller—a profession currently earning around $145,000 per year.

I would also like to take a moment to thank his father for believing in and supporting this vision—one that will not only position Remi for success at the highest level, but will also bless and impact so many other youth along the way.

This is how we change lives. This is how we build pathways. This is how we keep the American Dream alive for our young people.

And most importantly…this is what happens when God places you at the forefront of purpose.

We would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Rev. Dr. L.D. Tate and the incredible “Keyboard Wizard” for entrusting TAS Vintage Organ Repair and our very own junior STEM ON WHEELS technician, JJ, with your Hammond organ needs.

Hammond organ technicians are becoming increasingly rare not just here in St. Louis, Missouri, but across the entire United States. That’s exactly why this opportunity means so much. Through moments like this, we are actively building a pipeline of future technicians who can preserve, maintain, and service this legendary instrument for generations to come.

This is more than a repair its mentorship, legacy, and workforce development in action. We are proud to serve the community while preparing the next generation with real-world, hands-on STEM experience.

Thank you again for your trust and support in helping us grow the future of skilled technicians!

🚀 STEM on Wheels: Building the Future of Aviation in St. Louis

At STEM on Wheels, our mission is simple but powerful: increase youth awareness in the area of mental health and the use of drugs, alcohol and va**ng. Also youth awareness of STEM opportunities especially in the aviation industry right here in the St. Louis region.

For decades, America has faced a shortage of aviation professionals. Many of these careers such as engineers, pilots, air traffic controllers, air transportation system specialists, and aviation maintenance technicians offer salaries in the six-figure range, yet thousands of positions remain unfilled across the country.

Our goal is to help build the foundation early.

Through hands-on activities like robotics and block coding, we help young students develop the problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and “muscle memory” of STEM learning that prepares them for these future careers.

And the results are already happening.

In this post, you’ll see the success of STEM on Wheels as we work with youth who are beginning to realize:

✨ “Yes… I can become an engineer.”
✈️ “Yes… I can become a pilot.”
🎧 “Yes… I can become an air traffic controller.”
🛰️ “Yes… I can work in aviation technology.”
🔧 “Yes… I can become an aviation maintenance technician.”

You’ll also meet one of our Junior Instructors — 8-year-old Remy.

In a very short time, Remy has already mastered robotics and block coding and is excited to help teach other youth the STEM curriculum. Watching young leaders step forward and help others learn is exactly what STEM on Wheels is all about.

But our program goes beyond STEM skills.

We also use STEM as a bridge for important conversations with youth about:

• Mental health
• The dangers of drugs, alcohol, and va**ng
• How these chemicals affect the developing brain
• Making healthy choices that protect their future

Because preparing the next generation of STEM and aviation professionals means developing the whole person—mind, character, and opportunity.

At STEM on Wheels, we believe talent exists in every community. Our mission is to make sure young people see the opportunities available to them and begin building the skills needed to reach them.

The future engineers, pilots, and innovators of America may already be sitting in a classroom right here in St. Louis.

We’re simply helping them discover that their future can take flight.
