Meet Bushelle! This friendly stray showed up at a farm shop so far south in Missouri that we used a vet across the border in Arkansas. A worker's wife was afraid the cat was pregnant and contacted us for help. Bushelle was spayed, and now the shop peeps feed her. She has a safe place! We are so grateful to the sweet lady who took action BEFORE kittens happened, and grateful to our regular donors who make this kind of story possible. 💕

IMPERILED FERAL MOMS NEED SPAYS!

Down in Ripley County, Missouri, there's a park by the river where people leave cats. Since the park has been in the news and it's known that someone was feeding the cats, even more cats ended up there. But this isn't just a simple (haha) TNR.

The park is being cleared of brush and bulldozed as it gets picnic tables and a new boat dock. The cats who call it home need to leave, according to the park officials.

A cat feeder has trapped and fixed several cats already with our help. The last male was spraying her house and the last two females gave birth before they could get spayed. The male has been neutered, but we'd like to raise enough to cover that and the two moms' spays. They're still nursing but are scheduled. One of the moms was so young and frightened at what was happening to her that she needed help with the newborns. One newborn kitten died. She just didn't know what to do.

We have to stop heartbreaking situations like these! We need to raise about $450 for these three.

If you'd like to help with this sad situation, please donate in one of the following ways. Sharing helps, too! THANK YOU! 💕

MEET NIFTY THE BOBTAIL KITTY!

Nifty took shelter under an old porch, and no one in her town claimed her, so family members decided to keep her. 💕 They're in an area with no inexpensive spay options, so turned to us for help.
Thanks to our donors, she's got her spay scheduled for this month!
(Her cute little bobtail is visible if you click on the second pic.)

Look at this sweet baby! Please share her and help her find her forever home!

LET DOWN BY HUMANS, THE CAMPBELL NINE NEED OUR HELP!

When it was freezing out, a kind woman in Campbell, Missouri, took in two cats who were kicked out when their human caretakers moved. The female became pregnant and had four kittens. Last week, we paid for the mama cat's spay. Now it's her brother's and her kittens' turn. Piggy, Domi, Boba, and Peaches are the kittens pictured. Another four cats are community cats that this woman also feeds. Again, once cared for by humans, none of them are feral, but they too were left on their own when people moved, and are now living in an abandoned house. The woman feeds many more, but these nine (the mama's brother, the four kittens, and the four cats in the abandoned house) need fixing. This remarkable woman is willing to drive three hours to Rolla and back so that we only need to raise $360 for all nine cats.

This woman is caring for cats who were let down by the humans who supposedly cared for them. Please, if you can, help us to show that someone cares about their struggles, and to prevent more heartbreak and suffering.

As always, if we make more than we need, any extra would go toward spaying and neutering other cats. THANK YOU! 💜

HELP NEEDED FOR FRIENDLY STRAYS IN SE MO

There are so many stray cats in the rural areas of southeast Missouri! A big-hearted woman is caring for about 40 cats in and around her house. After wandering alone and hungry, these lovely ladies finally found safety and love with her. But they need spays to keep them healthy and to keep the population from exploding. We need to raise about $390 to get these three spayed. It seems like the least we can do for this kindly woman who is caring for so many.

Can you help? Every bit helps, and every share does too.

Thank you! 💙

Cosmo and Finkelstein say THANK YOU!

One of our kind heroes found two young kittens lying listless in a mud puddle outside of her home. She tried to feed them wet kitten food but couldn't get them to eat, so she asked her community for help. Another hero saw her post and took them home. She had to bottle feed them for three weeks before she was able to get them to eat wet kitten food, and she didn't think Cosmo would make it. But as you see, both cats survived and are now happy and healthy. Their savior meant to re-home them, but everybody in the household got attached to each other, and as she told us, "they are where they are meant to be."

We agreed to cover neuters, and they've got appointments.

Want to help us help more kitties? We have a few marvelous people who donate regularly, allowing us to help cats that we don't post about. Past donations allowed us to fund these two, but we still have a wait list of requests. The more donations we receive, the sooner cats get fixed!
