Today, we proudly celebrate the 225th Anniversary of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction, USA and it status as the Mother Supreme Council of the World ‼️

On May 31, 1801, the Supreme Council of the Thirty-Third Degree was established in Charleston, South Carolina, and for 225 years since it has built a legacy in foundation of Masonic education 🕯️, leadership, philosophy 💀, and servant leadership ⚖️📐, pushing Freemasons to seek truth, practice virtue, and labor for the betterment of humanity.🌎

Today, some 225 years ago, on May 25th, 1801, John Mitchell conferred the 33° on Rev. Frederick Dalcho in Charleston, South Carolina. Days later on May 31st they would open what would become the Supreme Council, 33°, (Mother Council of the World) of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.
