McCoy is making up for lost time.

For most of his life, this 2-year-old Border Collie mix knew life from the end of a chain. Now that he's in foster care, he's discovering all the things he missed out on: toys, soft beds, belly rubs, and the pure joy of being part of a family. Watching McCoy learn how to be a dog has been one of the sweetest things imaginable. At about 48 lbs, McCoy is housebroken, crate trained, and will happily head to his crate when asked. He's good with other dogs, a little shy when meeting new people, and then suddenly you're getting kisses from your newest best friend! One of his favorite recent discoveries is toys. While many dogs take toys for granted, McCoy approaches them like someone who just found out Christmas is real. Every squeaky toy, tennis ball, and game is a brand-new adventure.

McCoy doesn't need much to be happy: a safe home, kind people, and a chance to keep learning what love feels like. In return, he'll give you unwavering loyalty, gratitude, and the sweetest smile from a dog who finally knows he's home.

Frayda has spent the last few years perfecting two very important skills: making friends and finding snacks. This 4-year-old Lab loves people, gets along great with other dogs, does well with cats, and believes every meal should be treated like a major holiday.

One look at that big smile and you'll understand why everyone falls for her. Frayda's favorite game is zooming around the yard while her people chase her, though she never strays far. She's the type of dog who wants to know what you're doing, where you're going, and whether she can come too. After spending much of her life in a kennel environment, Frayda is still discovering all the wonderful things that come with living in a home. Every day brings a new adventure, and she's gaining confidence with each one. She's potty trained, crate trained, incredibly food motivated, and eager to learn.

Frayda would love an active family and would be thrilled to have another friendly dog to show her the ropes. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, a backyard playmate, and a professional treat enthusiast, Frayda is ready to apply for the position!

Lime isn't just a puppy...she's a burst of energy with four paws and a wagging tail. At 8 weeks old and about 8 lbs, this little Beagle mix believes every day should include wrestling with bigger dogs, exploring the backyard, and then dramatically collapsing into someone's lap for a nap.

Growing up in a foster home with kids and larger dogs has made Lime social, confident, and always ready for fun. She loves being with her people, whether that's being carried around like a baby or leading her own backyard adventure club. Like any puppy, she's still learning the ropes and will need a family ready for potty training, teething, and all the adorable chaos that comes with puppyhood. But with her playful personality, smart little brain, and endless supply of puppy kisses, Lime is sure to add a little extra zest to every day!

ATTENTION!

Incoming transmission from Silas’s ears. We’re not entirely sure what channel they’re tuned to, but they’re definitely picking up all the good vibes!

Silas is a 4-5 month old, 20-pound Jack Russell mix with the silliest ears and the sweetest soul. This handsome little guy is shy at first and needs a little time to feel safe, but once he does, you’ll discover a gentle, loving puppy who just wants to be close to his people.

Silas takes his cues from other dogs and absolutely loves having canine friends! They help him build confidence and bring out his playful side. He’s also wonderfully gentle with children (big or small) and is doing great with potty training by following the lead of his foster dog siblings.

This quiet boy isn’t much of a barker, but he will let you know when he’s feeling lonely. Silas would much rather be snuggled up with his family than spending time alone in a crate or pen.

All Silas needs is a patient family willing to let him blossom at his own pace. In return, you’ll get a loyal best friend, endless sweetness, and a pair of ears that deserve their own fan club. ❤️🐶

CELLAR

Cane Corso
5 years - best guess but I seem younger to my foster!

75 pounds of love and muscle

✴️Dog friendly, aka "Must Love Dogs"
✴️Cat curious. I need supervision, but I'm not prey driven.
✴️Kid friendly. They're my favorite.

✳️Crate trained, though it wouldn't be my first choice.
✳️Potty trained.

✅No pooping in the house ever.

✅No peeing in the house since my baby making duo disappeared.

✳️Leash trained, unless I see a beautiful lady dog. Who can blame me?

✳️Virtual training session(s) donated to help with adjusting to a new home.

Despite my name being Cellar, I don't want to live in a dreary basement. I want to be where the people are. You just sang that like Ariel in The Little Mermaid, didn't you? I understand why she sang about it. Humans and animals are my 'jam', especially kids. They're the best. Just watch my tail. I can't help it, my happiness takes over and I have to dance it out from my head down to my tail.

Other dogs come in close second to humans. I'm all about the play and companionship. Now cats- they're suspicious creatures. One where I currently live likes to tease me under the door. What's that about? Some run from me. I just stand there confused why they don't want to be my friend. If they don't hide, I try to play with them the same way I play with my dog buddies. They don't seem to appreciate my banter. 'Dogs are from Mars, Cats are from Venus'. Am I right? Maybe I'll figure them out soon.

Anyway, I'd love to make more friends and family. What do you say, adopt me?!?

Tiny dog. Big survivor. Even bigger heart. ❤️

Meet Beans, an 8½-year-old, 12-pound Chihuahua mix who’s looking for the happy ending he deserves.

Beans came from a heartbreaking situation where fleas and ticks had taken such a toll that he lost all his hair. Today, he’s safe, loved, and ready to find a forever family of his own.

This sweet little guy has a Level 4 heart murmur (does not take medication) and a cloudy eye, but neither stops him from enjoying life. He’s housebroken, enjoys car rides curled up in a cozy bed, and would love a home where he can relax and be cherished.

Beans does require a secure fenced yard since he’s a talented climber, door darter, and all-around escape artist. A canine companion would be a bonus, but mostly he just wants a family that will keep him safe and love him for the rest of his days.

After everything he’s been through, Beans is ready to trade survival for snuggles. Could your home be the fresh start he’s been waiting for? ❤️

UPDATE - Pending Adoption!

Meet Ashton Kutcher!

This 8-year-old, 11-pound Yorkie may share a name with a celebrity, but he’d much rather be famous for his snuggling skills.

Ashton is a sweet, shy little guy who prefers couches over red carpets and quiet afternoons over wild adventures. He enjoys lounging with his humans, soaking up sunshine in the fenced yard, and hanging out with his dog friends.

Housebroken, leash trained, and trustworthy when left alone, Ashton is the definition of an easy roommate. He’d love a home with another confident small dog to help him build confidence and a family that’s home often for cuddles.

If you’re looking for a low-key best friend and professional couch potato, Ashton is your guy!

BREAKING NEWS: Local Baby Moose Seeks Forever Family

Hi. I’m Storm!

Apparently, I’m a puppy. But at 6 months old and 40+ pounds, I think there’s been some sort of mistake. My foster keeps calling me a “big boy.” My brother Yoda is even bigger, so I guess we’re both just tiny horses at this point. (Yoda has already been adopted! He’s so lucky!!!)

I’ve recently discovered that people aren’t scary, walks are AMAZING, and belly rubs are basically the greatest invention ever. I walk nicely on a leash, which seems to impress the humans quite a bit.

I’ve also learned how to chase a ball. Catching it? No problem. Bringing it back? That’s advanced calculus, and I’m only 6 months old.

My foster says I’ve been doing great with potty training and haven’t had an accident in the house in a long time. She also says my new family would appreciate it if I would come every time they call me, but I prefer to keep things exciting by responding… selectively.

What I’m looking for:
✔️ Someone to love me
✔️ Someone to take me on walks
✔️ Someone who appreciates a growing boy with a few extra pounds of adorable

In return, I offer puppy kisses, goofy antics, and the occasional successful recall.

Apply today before I grow into an actual bear.

Meet Lonzo – the gentle giant with the goofy ears and an even goofier personality! ❤️

At 73 pounds, Lonzo is a big, handsome pittie mix with a heart that’s every bit as large as he is. Around 3 years old, this easygoing guy has mastered the art of being the perfect companion.

Lonzo is house-trained, crate-trained, dog-friendly, and has basic manners down pat. While some dogs dream of constant adventure, Lonzo is happiest simply hanging out with his people. Whether he’s stretched out on the floor nearby while you watch TV or lounging in the sunshine, he’s content just being part of the family.

One of Lonzo’s favorite pastimes is relaxing in a fenced yard, soaking up the fresh air, and rolling around in the grass. He’s the kind of dog who reminds you to slow down and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.

Friendly with new people and always ready to offer a wagging tail, Lonzo has a calm, loving nature that makes him easy to adore. And those ears? They seem to have a personality all their own, giving him a permanently curious and slightly goofy expression that’s guaranteed to make you smile.

If you’re looking for a loyal best friend, a backyard lounging buddy, and a professional companion for all of life’s everyday moments, Lonzo may be the perfect match for you.

Come meet this sweet boy and see why everyone falls in love with him!
