Take a look at June's resources from the "Seek. Pray. Serve." 2025–2027 planner. This month's focus is Serving One Another / Witness, helping members step out in faith to share God's love. The devotion "An Opportunity to Share" reflects on Proverbs 3:5–6, encouraging us to trust the Lord rather than our own understanding, which prepares us for moments of witness.

Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) sees the urgency to share the Gospel and grow the Kingdom of God by engaging people in the digital space. They have developed numerous digital resources that allow staff and volunteers to enter into conversations with individuals and provide biblically based answers for their lives.

LHM’s digital outreach platform, Thred, focuses on encouraging an open and honest conversation about life, faith, and Jesus with young adults. Gospel Adventures is a program designed for grade school and middle school youth, where they meet kids from other parts of the world and see God’s work in action. High school students are being reached with a new resource to become effective witnesses for Jesus called Spiritual Conversations: Sharing Life, Faith, and Jesus with Friends.

This grant will cover the cost of expanding mass media/proclamation activities and audience engagement, including social media, website, Bible courses, and training.

✝️ Read one of May's daily devotions --> Water of Life: Called By Name

In the Word
"And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, 'You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased'” (Mark 1:10–11).

Of the Word
Jesus’ public ministry began after His Baptism in the Jordan River. When He came up out of the water, God declared Him as His Son.

By Baptism, we have been made sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. He says, “I have called you by name, you are mine” (Isaiah 43:1b). Saint Paul writes, "For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith" (Galatians 3:26).

Immediately after His Baptism, the Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan. We, too, are tempted every day — tempted to doubt our faith, tempted to disobey God, tempted to follow the ways of the world. Temptations are all around us and are hard to escape, but because we have been joined with Christ, Satan has no power over us. "The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8b).

Walking with my Lord
Dear God, You are my Father and I am Your child. Guard and protect me from temptation and help me live my life as one who belongs to You. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
