Summer is arriving across the Midwest, bringing plenty of sunshine and warmer days. For many people living with lupus, sun protection is an important part of managing their health.

Whether youโ€™re heading to a Walk, a ballgame, or spending time outdoors, check out the limited-edition Lupus Awareness Month gear and help raise awareness while staying protected.

Wear purple. Start conversations. Make lupus visible.

Purple Ball helped us kick off Lupus Awareness Month with incredible energy, community, and purpose here in St. Louis.

Because of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, physicians, advocates, and guests, we were able to come together to support those impacted by lupus while continuing to grow awareness across the Heartland region.

As we close out Lupus Awareness Month, we are carrying that same momentum into our upcoming Lupus & You education events and the start of Walk to End Lupus Now season in both St. Louis and Kansas City.

There is still so much work to do, but events like this are a reminder of what is possible when a community comes together around hope, advocacy, education, and research.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Purple Ball such a special evening. More photos to come...
