This corporation is set up to seek grants and financial assistance to provide support and medical services for one of the many musculoskeletal problems that are prevalent in children and will affect them through adulthood. The musculoskeletal problems become worse when the feet are misaligned and if untreated can cause daily sever limitations during normal activities. The name of this musculoskeletal condition is called hyperpronation. This is when the bones in the feet do not have the proper balance required for normal activities and without the proper balance of these foot bones a child will be in pain almost every step they take. Hyperpronation results in abnormal wear and tear on the musculoskeletal system and has devastating effects on the everyday lives on those affected. Like the tires on your car the feet need the proper balance and alignment they deserve. Just like you can fix a flat tire, we can now fix flat feet with a medical device surgically implanted one joint below the ankle joint giving children the proper balance, alignment and shock absorption that their feet and bodies require. There are two known surgical implants with proven results. One is called the Hyprocure and the other is called the Talex.
Treatments for this condition are not covered by medical insurance companies.
