Every breakthrough in cancer research starts with an opportunity to discover something new. 💚⁣

Through funding from the St. Louis Men’s Group Against Cancer, Dr. Cynthia Ma and her team at WashU Medicine’s Siteman Cancer Center have been able to advance critical breast cancer research, studying why some patients respond to certain treatments while others do not.⁣
⁣
By analyzing tumor samples and identifying potential reasons for treatment resistance, Dr. Ma's team has uncovered promising new directions for developing more effective therapies for patients with metastatic breast cancer.⁣
⁣

Thanks to a grant from the St. Louis Men’s Group Against Cancer, Cardinal Glennon’s Child Life Department has expanded the creative tools available to oncology patients, including a large-format poster printer. What may sound like a simple piece of equipment has become a meaningful source of celebration and healing.⁣
