Please join us in celebrating the winner of our 2025 Mock Grant Panel, Martha Valenta!

"I’m incredibly grateful to Midwest Artist Project Services for offering the Mock Grant Application process. Last year’s event taught me so much, and the feedback I received from my grant applications through the year helped me refine my approach—leading to success in securing funding. Now, with this support, I’m excited to take “The Daydream Workshop Project: Driving Creativity & Connection” to the next level. This project transforms a cargo van into a mobile art installation, bringing interactive, tactile, and immersive art experiences to neurodiverse and underserved communities. Through creativity, it helps ADHD folks find self-acceptance and their loved ones understand them a bit more. With this mock grant, I’ll be using this application to seek real funding and make this vision a reality. Thank you for empowering artists like me to dream big and make it happen!" - Martha Valenta

Please join us in celebrating the winner of our 2025 Mock Grant Panel, Darian Wigfall!

"I don’t make a ton of money but this is probably the most proud I’ve ever been to make $500. Thank you for this opportunity! The panel discussion was invaluable and to win in my category shows me I should keep going in my effort to honor my ancestors through truth and storytelling. Thank you so much to Brigid, Liz, Syrhea, the panel members and other applicants and everyone else at MAPS for this experience! We plan to take all of the feedback and incorporate it for all of our future grant applications." - Darian Wigfall
