By learning CPR you help more people survive a Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

CPR, if performed immediately, can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival. Be ready to act. If you see someone collapse, call 911, push hard and fast in the center of the chest, and use an AED if one is available.

Please learn CPR and How to use an AED

17 years ago, my life changed forever!
I’m a SCA survivor! This is because my heroes, Dana Heisserer and Diane Williams knew CPR and they saved my life! If they were not there, my outcome could have been so different! In 2007 the survival rate of a sudden cardiac arrest was only 5%! Yes 5%! The first few year I really struggled with this! I thought I would never see Maddie Harris and Tori Dickson graduate high school, even drive a car or celebrate a 25th anniversary with Jeff Dickson! Here it is 17 years later….. I have been to Maddie and Tori’s college graduations, danced at Maddie and Mike Harris’ wedding, and I have celebrated that 25th wedding anniversary with Jeff! This is such a milestone for me! I can now look to the future and imagine holding my grandchildren, dancing at Tori’s wedding, and I can’t wait to see where Jeff is going to take me for our 50th wedding anniversary!!!
So with that……
I hope you can find and wear your RED tomorrow!
- wear it for all the women in your life
- wear it to raise awareness and start conversations
- wear it to support all the present and future heart survivors

One last thing….. please learn CPR! You could some day a hero!!
