Last Thursday, we participated in to kickoff our May fundraising season. In 24 hours, we raised $7,472!

Tomorrow we are hosting a SOLD OUT "Beyond The Green Beans" fundraiser at Parker’s Table. We appreciate every share, gift, or bid that has helped us move closer to our goal of $25,000 this month.

Every effort helps us to continue to serve the community with dignity, compassion, and respect as we move into Phase 3 of the building remodel project.

Support St. Anthony Food Pantry on Give STL Day!

In 2025, St Anthony Food Pantry launched a building remodel project to improve the space which the pantry operates. This is a multi-year and multi-dollar project.

The pantry has remained fully operational and continues to serve the public during the construction. Last year, we served over 45,000 individuals who were facing food insecurity.

Today, high speed WiFi was installed at St Anthony Food Pantry 🙌

This is another huge milestone for us. High speed internet is crucial for any organization working in the digital age and we have been lagging behind. Not anymore! Today, we had a visit from AT&T, who installed our new high speed fiber optic internet.

Next up is Phase 3 of the building remodel, when we update the administrative & operational space, including a meeting & training room, a volunteer break room, and administrative offices – all a first for our pantry.

We are excited to be one step closer to our improved, full scale operations at St. Anthony Food Pantry.

This is what progress looks like.

Over the winter, we completed phase 2 of our building remodel, with a demolition of Rob's office and the bread storage room. Now, we have a walk in freezer and fridge that helps preserve the the quality of food for our guests.

With a growing demand for food in our community, our operations have expanded in the past year. At the same time, we have added a new high capacity electrical panel, obtained central AC/heat, taken out walls, and installed a freezer/fridge. We have enlarged interior halls to accommodate pallets, built a freight ramp, and painted the entire basement with a fresh coat of paint (thanks to Kennedy Painting LLC).

All of these improvements are possible because of our community partners, volunteers, and financial supporters.

What a milestone today! For the first time ever, we avoided the backbreaking task of moving thousands of pounds of food by hand. We recently completed an inside freight path that allows our pallet jacks to move freight from the truck down our new freight ramp and to our storage area! We are so grateful to everyone donated to make this necessary and overdue improvement a reality!

With many helping hands, we serve the community. In the first 3 months of 2026, we supported 10,955 individuals with food and personal care items.

In addition to the open pantry hours, we have volunteers on-site Monday-Friday. They pickup food, unload boxes, and portion food servings for our families. It’s a team effort!

Big thanks to our volunteers and staff who continue to show up, week after week. We couldn’t do this without you.
