Meet Jamisan…. Jamisan is 10 years old with Down Syndrome, Type 1 Diabetes, T-Cell immunodeficiency and celiac disease! Jamisan fights everyday to live with her conditions, but is still the happiest little girl around! Colton’s Cause was happy to help with the speech therapy she needed and a floating device she needed to safely swim in the pool with her siblings! 😇❤️🦋

Thank you to the Ziegler Family for choosing Colton’s Cause as the nonprofit in honor of Joe who passed away on August 20th of Glioblastoma. He fought with strength, perseverance, love, kindness and faith! Donations in honor of Joe exceeded $5000! Colton’s Cause will use this money to help a child in need. May Joe watch over Krissy, Olivia, and Jackson as they navigate this life without their beloved Joe! 🙏😇🦋❤️😘

Meet Millie! Millie was born this past November with many medical issues. Shortly after birth, she went into respiratory failure. After several months of being hospitalized at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, doctors determined she had a very rare genetic disorder called Glycogen Storage Disease Type IV. This affects 1 in 800,000 births. She has issues with her heart, muscle strength, mobility and eating by mouth. Millie will require ongoing specialized care and close medical monitoring throughout her life. Despite the uncertainty that comes with such a rare diagnosis, Millie has shown incredible strength and resilience! Colton’s Cause was able to assist, with the help of Woodard Construction (Jared) to install the necessary electrical work in her parents home to allow the medical equipment Millie requires to care for her at home! Keep fighting Millie! 😇🦋❤️

Meet Everett! This sweet boy is 8 years old! He was born at 30 weeks with no functioning kidneys and a brain injury. He needed surgery within his first 24 hours. He spent his first 7 months in the hospital and needed dialysis. At 2.5 years old, Everett received a new kidney! Unfortunately, when he was 3 years old, he was diagnosed with cancer due to complications with his transplant medications. He was able to beat cancer!! Everett is unable to eat by mouth and requires a feeding tube for nutrition. His insurance company suddenly denied his formula and feeding supplies that can be very costly! Colton’s Cause was able to help cover these expenses for a few months until his family is able to get everything covered! Yes, we have a broken system when a child’s formula is not covered and it’s the only thing the child can have! 😇🦋❤️
