This Friday June 19th the Fellowship of Unions Coalition will be coming together to clean up and beautify one of the largest and oldest historical African American cemeteries in our area. A union election should mark the start of bargaining, not a bad-faith waiting game.

Right now, the NLRB requires employers to bargain in good faith, but sets no deadline for the bargaining to begin. For years, companies have exploited this fact to drag out negotiations, stalling the process of securing a first contract by an average of 458 days.

The Faster Labor Contracts Act, which passed the House this week, closes that loophole by requiring employers to begin negotiations within 10 days of a successful union election!

Thank you to Representatives Donald Norcross and Pete Stauber for standing up for workers and championing this critical legislation.

We at the Union For Cannabis Workers Local 655 are so excited to annouce that by a vote of 31-1 CBDKratom stores across the St. Louis metro area and in Illinois have voted to accept their first union contracts and are officially full-fledged partners of UFCW Local 655 and UFCW Local 881 respectively!
We are stoked to be starting this JOINT Partnership to make sure Doyens are taken care of as they grow and rise together in this new industry!
