A new beginning, reclaiming our African community; investing in our African future. The BPB project, led by Black Star Industries (BSI) and the African People's Education and Defense Fund (APEDF), is a strike back against the ravaging gentrification that is turning historic black communities white. With your help to bring to life the plan for black community owned and operated institutions such as

a new Uhuru House Community Center at 4101 W. Florissant Ave, the Uhuru Jiko Commercial Kitchen, Bakery and Café at 3723 Goodfellow, and garden/outdoor event space at 4031/4035 W. Florissant Ave, we are kickstarting a new future for the African community in St. These projects will impact on the city through social and economic rebirth. Our institutions will create jobs and commerce. They will attract black culture and arts developed through self-determination projects by an African-led organization dedicated to the leadership and empowerment of the black working class. Find out more how you can contribute to and be apart of this historic project.

The African community here, like others around the country, faces poverty, joblessness, poor schools and substandard housing. Louis the police violence against our community is so severe that in 2014 it brought world attention to the police murder of Mike Brown. These are the conditions of the poor and working class African community in a country built on slavery and genocide.

Another beautiful and productive workday with the Reparations Investment Company (RIC)! RIC is the newest project of the Black Power Blueprint that is revitalizing the Northside by restoring houses the City left to rot. RIC is creating community home ownership and long term rental housing for our community-- not gentrification which benefits others at our expense.

RIC is coordinated by the Uhuru Solidarity Movement which organizes for white people's reparations to the black community and calls on everyone to contribute skills and efforts to support African community economic development and self-determination.

All are welcome! Skilled or unskilled! email: [email protected], call: 314-328-4816, or visit our website reparationsinvestment.com.

Now over a year since the deadly May 16th EF3 tornado hit the St. Louis, the City has still done nothing to repair the already devastated black community on the Northside!

The City has used the tornado as a means to escalate the forced removal of our people in order to gentrify North St. Louis! They have shown once again they will never solve the problems we face!

There is a genuine solution and it is coming from the African self-determination programs of the Black Power Blueprint. We are building black community-led programs for food, health, housing and economic self-determination for ourselves!

Watch this video and join us in making it happen. Email: [email protected], call: 314-380-8016 or visit our website blackpowerblueprint.org.
