COMMUNITY UPDATE
Yesterday detectives were call to a body being located near the bike trail off Hall street & Humboldt, when officers arrived they did find the body. Per family it has been confirmed that, yesterday in fact, Lotoya was found deceased. At this time our condolences go out to the family, especially Lotoya daughter.
This case is being investigated as a homicide.
At this time it is still an on going investigation
🚨CRITICAL- PERSON-ST.LOUIS🚨
Latoya Smith was last seen on Saturday, December 27th, in North City St. Louis, after her last phone call with her 14-year-old daughter.
Her vehicle, which she was driving, was discovered abandoned 2 days later in the area of Broadway and Switzer ( Neighborhood) with trees covering it, and her phone was found inside the car.
According to family members, the police have questioned a person of interest in connection with the case.
