One of the things I am most proud of about our club is that there is always something to do every weekend if you like. I am especially proud of Andrew Webster & Leaman Brown who last year had zero experience in construction. Now they both are part of a super trained deck building team with mad construction skills. Today they volunteered at The Violence Prevention Center for the cleaning day. These guys rock!

We wanted to take a minute and Thank Shannon Brock of Gaptoothed Stuidio of Montgomery City for a wonderful Social Event where members of our Club Learned how to make paper with great art designs. Also a huge thank you for The Rotary Club of Montgomery City for putting it together. A great time was had by all.

On his last official visit our very own District Governor Ralph Zuke talked about the achievements our club has accomplished and our impact on our community. Ralph emphasized how the work our club has done is well known throughout District 6060.
As part of his Pink Flamingo campaign he awards a large wooden Pink Flamingo to the most deserving Rotarian in each club who goes above and beyond. This person is a true representative of the term "Service above Self". Congratulations to our friend and #1 Good Do-er Mr. Chad Baker . Job well done!
