Our first mission, for “Mann on a Mission” (for some reason, now we can’t tag any pages) 😕

This Sunday, (Nov.9th) immediately after the Florissant Veterans parade, we will be serving pulled pork sandwiches for FREE to any and all veterans at the VFW Post 4105, starting around 3pm. Just a simple hot sandwich after lunch and before dinner. These will be served from inside the post, where it won’t be nearly as cold as outside.
Our food truck will be serving food at another event in Saint Charles, from 2-4pm. That event is the annual fan appreciation party with our friends of Russo&Co and few other local musicians. It’s a free event, being held at GlenMark Farms in New Town, which is an outside and inside venue. We will be serving/selling our award winning Chili and some simple sandwiches, but not from the food truck. The cold weather certainly could have picked a different day to visit us.
Then Tuesday, on Veterans Day, we will be bringing 100+ “Fork” Steak Meals (Pork Steaks, grilled Butter ball potatoes, and baked beans) to serve to the first 100 or so veterans that show up. We may bring other menu options of equal value ($17ish) to purchase for non-veterans and/or guests, but any and all proceeds from Tuesday sales will go to “Mann on A Mission”, which will be used for future “Missions”.
While we are still in the very beginning stages of building MOAM, we are blessed, that this Tuesday, Feel State Florissant / Robust is covering all the cost of this Mission, as they are also very committed with giving back to the community and our Veterans. When they reached out to us and said they wanted to be on board with MOAM, that was a no brainer.
Anyone who would like to donate to “Mann On A Mission” can certainly do so, in which those donations will be used for future needs, which will be publicized on our MOAM page as well as here. T-shirts will be available Sunday and Tuesday. Checks (made out to Mann On A mission) or cash are accepted as we are still working on the other digital forms of payments and donations for the “Not For Profit”.
