Of all the crops we are planting this year we are introducing two new interesting crops we are planting this year at Confluence. The first was introduced to me by Gere from it’s a black ginger or I say “purple ginger”. It has a really beautiful deep color and interesting flavor. The second is a return to Confluence and we’re hoping the change in zones will be gentle to our Fioretto Sprouting Cauliflower. This is the best tasting Cauliflower I’ve ever had and I’ve been asked by several people to grow this. Not sure how much we will have available so when you see it grab it because I’m sure this one will be flying off the shelf.

The North Sarah Food Hub, an initiative by Holistic Organic Sustainable Cooperative (HOSCO), was born out of a vision to create a more equitable and sustainable food and agriculture system in our community.

Collaboration Appreciation post for an incredible organization, North Sarah Food Hub! North Sarah Food hub is commercial kitchen working to create solutions for food justice and food access. Their unique cooperative model sources food from local farmers and allows neighborhood residents to take ownership of their local food system.
