Spotlight on Past Matron Angela Malone

Today, Harmony Grand Chapter proudly shines its Stellar Star Saturday spotlight on Past Matron Angela Malone, a woman whose life reflects service, generosity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to uplifting others.
Angela was initiated into the Order of the Eastern Star in 2015 through Progressive Chapter No. 26 and is currently a member of Electa Chapter No. 1, District No. 1. Throughout her Eastern Star journey, she has served as a Past Matron and devoted several years of service to Grand Chapter Community Service. Her willingness to serve within the Order reflects something Angela has practiced throughout her life—giving back to others.
Her commitment to community extends far beyond Eastern Star. For more than three decades, Angela has worked to support children and families through education, community outreach, her childcare work, and Will’s Way Inc., a nonprofit she founded in memory of her late mother.
Over the years, Angela’s dedication has been recognized by numerous civic, community, and service organizations throughout St. Louis and beyond. And today, September 26, 2026, another honor is added to her journey as she receives the Heart of Gold Award, recognizing her heart for service, compassion, and community.
But Angela’s impact cannot be measured simply by the awards she has received.
Angela is a giver. 💜
She is the person who supports your fundraiser, purchases a ticket, makes a donation, gives her time, and contributes even when she cannot personally attend. Alongside her husband, Kenneth, Angela generously gives her time, resources, energy, and financial support to organizations and causes they believe in. Her generosity isn’t about recognition—it is simply part of who she is.
That giving spirit has been especially evident during one of the most challenging seasons of her own life. Angela’s home was severely damaged by the May 16, 2025 St. Louis tornado, and more than a year later, she remains displaced. Yet while dealing with her own recovery and uncertainty, she has continued to give, volunteer, support others, and serve her community.
That speaks volumes about the woman we celebrate today.
Today, we celebrate the Past Matron, community servant, supporter, and giver whose light continues to shine both within our Order and throughout her community.
Sister Angela Malone, today is your day. We see your service. We appreciate your generous heart. We honor your strength, and we celebrate the many lives you continue to touch.
