NEWS FLASH:
JEBALI CONFERENCE 2026: GUIDING YOUNG MALES TOWARD PURPOSE AND POWER
In partnership with the Saint Louis Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. â Epsilon Lambda Chapter, and the Delta Life Development Foundation, Jebali is a community-rooted conference centered on culture, commitment, and the intentional development of strong, purpose-driven young males.
This dynamic, full-day youth conference is designed to inspire and equip middle- and high-school males with the tools, confidence, and clarity needed to navigate their personal, academic, and leadership journeys with intention and purpose.
Why This Conference Matters
Supporting young males is essential to strengthening families, schools, and communitiesâparticularly Black youth who continue to navigate systemic barriers and limited access to affirming spaces. Now in its second edition, this conference reflects a strong local commitment to sustained investment in young male development, while intentionally positioning Jebali as a collaborative model that Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. chapters can replicate nationwide through their Go to High School, Go to College and EMBODI national programs.
Building on the momentum, lessons, and impact of its inaugural year, Jebali provides a culturally grounded, supportive environment that fosters confidence, leadership, and opportunityâhelping young males thrive academically, socially, and personally, and demonstrating how community-rooted solutions can generate lasting national impact.
Foundations of Conference
The Jebali Conference is grounded in two nationally recognized youth development programs:
EMBODI (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence) â Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.âs national program focused on leadership development, academic success, emotional intelligence, and healthy decision-making for young Black males.
Go to High School, Go to College (GTHSGTC) â Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.âs national program that promotes academic achievement, college access, career readiness, and lifelong leadership for Black youth.
