CARE-Change & Action for Racial Equity in St. Louis C.A.R.E - Change & Action for Racial Equity in St. Our Objectives
1.

Louis, Missouri

Our MISSION is to promote racial equity in education, policing and housing while advocating for the inclusion of all people and addressing the opportunity gap. Our Philosophy
We believe all people are valuable and should be treated with dignity and respect and are deserving of opportunities. We believe all institutions should represent all people and provide for all well-being of

everyone they serve. Support education initiatives that align with our mission, school programs, and effective models for education reform in terms of student achievement and equitable funding.
2. Support policing that promotes fair treatment of all people, i.e., eliminating the practice of issuing tickets to enhance revenue, encouraging police officers to engage in community service, and clarifying the federal Police Reform program.
3. Support programs that enhance fair housing practices, i.e., elimination of redlining and programs to help minorities become homeowners.
4. Support programs in schools and communities that are geared toward inclusion and eliminating discrimination, i.e., "OneRace Program" cultural exchange, book clubs, and passage of the "Crown Act".

We are incredibly honored and grateful to share that C.A.R.E. has been nominated for a Todd H. Bol Award for Outstanding Achievement.

The award, named for the LFL late founder, honors Little Free Library volunteer stewards who are making an exceptionally positive impact on their communities.

Grateful to our stewards who lead our 61 LFLs in the St. Louis area.

With much appreciation to the Little Free Library project leaders Kisha Greenidge-Kader, Ruth Banks, David Norman Kantor, Gilard.
