We are excited to introduce Chien Hung as our new Senior Director of Youth Programs and Government Affairs!
Originally from Taiwan, Chien earned a Master of Social Work from the Brown School at Washington University in 2005, followed by a Master of Science in Gerontology from Lindenwood University in 2015. He began his career in 2005 supporting clients living with HIV/AIDS, gaining extensive experience navigating high-acuity needs and complex cases. In 2016, Chien transitioned to advocating for older adults in long-term care communities as the Director of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program at VOYCE, where he managed oversight for 505 facilities across 39 Missouri counties.
Outside of his primary professional roles, Chien is a Registered Yoga Teacher who has been practicing and instructing since 2012.
Having already met many inspiring clients and dedicated colleagues during his first week at UCP Heartland, Chien looks forward to collaborating, growing, and driving impactful work across the organization.
Welcome Chien!
