THE GATEWAY CITY DERBY WEEKEND EXPERIENCE IS COMING!

Join the Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation and the Metro East. St. Louis Community Initiative for the Gateway City Derby Party WEEKEND Experience hosted by the distinguished men of Alpha Phi Alpha!

We're starting off with the Pre-Derby Cigar Event at The Cellar Cigar Lounge on Thursday, April 30th. This is a free event kick back to get you in the vibe for the Main Event.

Friday, May 1st, is Ladies Night at Form Skybar at Hotel St. Louis! Come out in sexy and sophisticated dresses. Fellas, come dressed to Impress. Ladies AND Derby VIP Guests are Free before 7pm.

Saturday, May 2nd @ The Culver Pavillion at the Muny! We invite all to come dressed up Derby Style and experience the pageantry, elegance and fun of the Kentucky Derby and enjoy great music from one of the best DJs in the St. Louis.

With your host Queen Mocha Latte, the event will feature a complimentary signature Uncle Nearest Mint Julep cocktail along with hors d’ oeuvres. And Ladies, don't miss out on the Ladies Hat Parade for a chance at $500!!

The thrill of the Kentucky Derby is coming to the Midwest, and you’re invited to be part of the excitement!  Join the St. Louis and East St. Louis Alphas for the Gateway City Derby Experience 2026 — the ultimate Derby watch party outside of Louisville.

On SATURDAY, MAY 2nd, 2026 we plan to go bigger with the pageantry and elegance befitting one of the most renowned sporting events in the world!  With your host Queen Mocha Latte, and the music provided by DJ Phat Mack, this year we will be at the Magnificent Culver Pavilion at the Muny in Forest Park!  Get a chance to hang out at the Uncle Nearest Lounge as you enjoy the scenic atmosphere and watch the race.  Don't forget to place your bet for your chance to win a prize.
