Blessings to Others is a 501c3 charitable, non-profit based in St. Louis, MO. Providing affordable housing and life skills to individuals and families.

Tim Grimmett received a vision from God, based on 1 Cor 16:2 “one day each week we should set aside money so that we don’t need to make collections when a situation arises.”

Based on this experience, Tim decided to take action. Money was used to assist others, and then to assist people who needed housing due to hurricane Katrina and were forced to relocate elsewhere in the U.S. Those who found th

emselves in the St. Louis area added to the already growing number of homeless in our area. Blessings To Others have made it our mission to assist displaced families by assisting them in obtaining a home and the means to once again live without the need of further public assistance. In 2012, Blessings To Others partnered with the Community Hope Project, a like-minded organization that assists families and individuals in training in life management and advancement skills. The basic skills needed, such as job interviews, money management, and personal healthcare. It has become a perfect fit for the Blessings To Others values and is a much-needed program for our city. Blessings To Others strive to help families re-establish a successful way of life and stabilize growing neighborhoods by homeownership and as responsible self-sufficient Americans.

A company scorecard fixes that and yes, it’s manual, custom, and specific to your business.
You create the categories yourself, based on what really matters.

But here’s the truth:
🔥 If you can’t look at your scorecard, you can’t manage your business.

Example:
If your scorecard says, “How many mailings went out this week?”
You should instantly know the answer.
If nothing went out, that’s a problem.
Scorecards force accountability, and every week you adjust what’s important.

Your metrics might include:
✔️ How many calls came in from your VA
✔️ How many houses you walked this week
✔️ How many contracts you wrote
✔️ How many future opportunities you found in your trailer park (hello, first right of refusal!)

Your KPIs depend entirely on YOUR business.

Every property closing comes with a list of essential tasks, and missing even one can cost you time, money, or credibility.

Here’s what ALWAYS needs to be done:

✔️ Turn off the utilities
✔️ Confirm the settlement statement (at least a day early)
✔️ Pay the stager make sure it’s on the closing docs
✔️ Arrange key or lockbox pickup
✔️ Drop off the garage door opener and communicate the location
✔️ Cancel insurance on the property
✔️ Verify every step is completed

These are simple steps… but when they’re not written down, they get overlooked.

Last night, I had an enrollment talk with Jessica.
Year one, she didn’t pay much attention.
