Attn: baseball & softball coaches & families!!

Keep an eye on the heat index this week…it’s gonna be a hot few days! Here is the C*C heat policy for your reference:

HEAT

⚠️YELLOW Heat index between 81–98°

Participants are in very little danger from heat and no special measures will be taken.

✴️ORANGE Heat index between 99–104°

Each player must have water to be allowed to play.
Coach-monitored water break required for catchers during each half-inning.
Coaches should instruct all players to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks.

🛑RED Heat index between 105–110°

C*C Athletic Associations will postpone or cancel all games and practices until the heat index is below 105°.

Notifications about canceled games can be found on:
C*C Northwest Rainoutline or C*C Southeast Rainoutline.
Canceled practices are communicated by individual athletic associations usually through email and/or Rainoutline.

WOW! What an incredible day! ⚾️💥

Sportsmanship Day and the Home Run Derby was a TREMENDOUS success, and it would not have been possible without the amazing volunteers, coaches, sponsors, parents, and community members who stepped up to help make it happen. From setup to cleanup, registration to pitching, and everything in between, so many people gave their time and energy to create a fun event for our players and families.

Thank you to everyone who participated, cheered from the sidelines, donated, volunteered, and supported the event. Seeing our community come together like this is what makes it all worthwhile!

We’ve had a few pictures shared from the event📸 so I’m sharing those here but we would love to see more!!

If you attended the Home Run Derby, please drop your photos in the comments so everyone can enjoy them. Feel free to tag friends and family, too!

Thank you again for making this such a memorable event. We couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️⚾️🥎

Get ready…we’re already talking about how to make this event bigger and better for next year! We will have a survey out soon so you can share your thoughts and ideas so keep an eye out for that!
