Registration for the 2027 basketball season is now open. This is for 3rd through 8th grade boys and girls. Follow the link below to register.

We are ordering new uniforms this season and the athletic association will collect the uniforms at the end of the season. There is no need to order a jersey this year as we will be supplying the full uniform – both shorts and jerseys. After registration closes we will have a few evenings where we will ask you to bring your child up to school so we can do uniform fittings to get the right sizes. The dates for the uniform fittings will be determined at a later date.

Please note that we require all families to have a parent/guardian work one volunteer duty shift, for each child registered. Please purchase the Volunteer Opt Out add-on if you do not wish to work the required shift.

As always, we are looking for volunteers to help coach. If you are interested let us know as soon as possible. The Archdiocese requires all adult volunteers in C*C to attend some training courses so we will want to make sure you attend those prior to the start of the season.

Practices will start in November. Games will start in mid-December for 5th through 8th grade. For 3rd and 4th grade, the games will start in early January. The season will be done in early March.

This will be our long-time basketball coordinator’s final season as coordinator. Huge thanks to Dan Rakers for his many years of service to the Athletic Association!! It is likely that one of you reading this will be the coordinator next year – we can’t offer the sport if there is no coordinator! If anyone thinks they might be interested, please reach out so you can work alongside Dan this year so you’re not starting from scratch next year.

C*C held a preseason tournament August 21-23, 2026. Eight Seton teams represented us by participating in the tournament. It was a long hot weekend in a facility with no air conditioning. All our teams fought hard and played well, improving with each game. A big congratulations to the following four teams who medaled at the tournament:

3F Sturch- 2nd place
4F Grass- 1st place Gold Division
6M Brown- 1st place Silver Division
6F Haar- 1st place Gold Division

Way to go Cougars!

The season is just getting started for all our teams and it is guaranteed we will have many more success stories within the volleyball program! Good luck to all the teams this season! GO COUGARS!
