For those that are coming to the BackStoppers Championship Washers tournament tomorrow at the St. Charles Convention Center, we will have a box at the check-in table for new (or slightly used) coats, hats and gloves. These items will be donated to those in need.

If you have not registered your team, you can still register online tonight or at the door in the morning.

The BackStoppers Championship Washers Tournament, currently scheduled for Saturday, September 21st, is being temporarily postponed.

We are sorry for the last minute change and will update you as soon as we have more information. We are working hard to make this event a special event in which we can support the BackStoppes and their continued efforts to support the children of fallen police, fire and ems personnel who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

Washers for Public Safety will be holding a Mouse Race Fundraiser to raise needed funds for Police, Fire and EMS personnel who have been injured while serving our communities. Come have a fun night at the races while Helping Those Who Help Others.

I had a few people message me tonight because they received notice that the event was cancelled for the Mouse Race next month. There were two events actually online for some reason. Therefore, one was cancelled while the second event is still online.

Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful day for our washers tournament to benefit the children's educational fund at BackStoppers. Registration opens at 9:00AM with first toss at 10:00AM. I want to thank everyone who showed up for the Officer Mike Vernon Benefit washer tournament. We had 29 teams compete in this benefit yesterday and some good money was raised for Officer Vernon and his wife. The grand prize money was even donated back to the cause. Pictures will follow soon on our website. Day ended with the circle rainbow around the sun. What a perfect ending to a great day.
