Our non-profit is running CRITICALLY low on funds, as we try to get through these cold months with noticeably less public interest. We only budget for basic necessities for our animals: shelter, food, and as needed medicines.

Hello again!!! Wanted to give everyone an update! Crackerjack has read with lots of kids and has loved the attention and interaction!

We want to make sure that you know that even in cold weather… Crackerjack loves to have visitors!!!! We wanted to give you a reminder list of things you can come help us with to care for him too!!

He gets fed twice a day, once around 8:45am and once around 4:45.

His stall needs cleaned at lease 3 times a week.

He needs brushed multiple times a week.

He is much much happier when he has interaction with people!! He especially enjoys stories from kids and listening to them read!!!

When was the last time you paid attention to the farm land around you!? How it grows and when it gets cut. How long it takes the farmers to plant and then to harvest. They also have to prepare the fields for the next season. Have you thought about would we eat if we didn’t have these farms or the farmers? Here are some pictures of the farms around Crackerjack!!
