What sustains the fire of God in our lives?

In River Church Part 2, Pastor Shane Blackledge preaches from Luke 22:39–46 about Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Before Jesus faced the cross, He knelt before the Father, surrendered to His will, and received strength for the greatest Kingdom assignment in history.

CHURCH ON THE STREETS!

We are TAKING BACK WHAT THE DEVIL STOLE!

Tomorrow we are taking Jesus beyond the four walls of the church and into our community! We are going after the lost, the broken, those battling addiction, and those who have lost hope!

We are calling on THE CHURCH to come together in unity! Different churches, different ministries, but ONE BODY, ONE SPIRIT, ONE MISSION!

We will be sharing the Gospel, praying for people, providing free food, clothing, and giveaways, and showing people the LOVE OF JESUS!

The devil has stolen enough lives, families, and futures! It's time for the Church to rise up, get outside the four walls, and bring the hope and freedom found in JESUS CHRIST!

We are not competing with one another. We are contending together for souls!

This Week at Cultivate Church!

Church family, we have a wonderful week ahead with opportunities to grow in God’s Word, serve our community, and share the love of Jesus! I want to personally invite you to be part of what God is doing.

WEDNESDAY | The Prophetic Life | 6:30 PM
Doors open at 6 PM at Old Stone Chapel. Tonight is Lesson 2! Please come prepared to share your answers and Prophetic Life Assessment. We encourage in-person participation, but men’s and women’s online links and assessments are available at https://thepropheticlife.lovable.app/ or https://www.wearecultivatechurch.org/events.

THURSDAY | Community Gathering Canceled
We apologize for the late notice. Due to scheduling conflicts with home showings, we are unable to host this week. Please keep Pastor Shane and Amber in prayer as they sell their home and seek a new home in St. Charles.

FRIDAY | Community Meal | 3-5 PM
Volunteers are needed to serve alongside Fina and Larry Beeman at the Salvation Army in St. Charles. Come help us feed, pray with, and minister to our unhoused friends.

FRIDAY | Outreach Preparation | 7-8 PM
We need 3-4 volunteers to assemble blessing bags at our church storage unit on First Capitol. We also need help preparing 50 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for Saturday’s outreach. Please reply if you can help!

SATURDAY | Prayer Drive-Thru & Street Outreach
11 AM-12:30 PM: Prayer Drive-Thru at Main Street Church’s back parking lot in historic St. Charles.

1 PM: Take Back What the Devil Stole! Church on the Streets at Echo Park on Second Street. We’ll provide meals, clothing, blankets, tents, blessing bags, prayer, and the hope of Jesus!

SUNDAY | 10:30 AM
Join us at Old Stone Chapel for From Lake Church to River Church, Part Two! We’ll explore humility, surrender, and obedience as God prepares us for a new season of multiplication.

Praise the Lord! What an amazing night at Kingdom Recovery!

Rachel Maryan shared a powerful testimony of God’s goodness and transforming power! The fellowship was incredible, and the worship led by Donald Watts was amazing!

The men’s and women’s share groups were something special tonight, filled with the presence of God! The Holy Spirit was moving, hearts were being touched, and lives are being transformed!

There is nothing like watching Jesus heal, restore, and set people free!

The fire of God is burning at Kingdom Recovery! All glory to Jesus!

Scripture: Ezekiel 47:9 (NLT)
“Life will flourish wherever this water flows.”

In Ezekiel 47, God gave the prophet a vision of a river flowing from the temple. What began as a small stream became a mighty river, bringing life and restoration wherever it flowed.

Church, there is something powerful about a river. A lake collects water, but a river carries it somewhere!

The same is true in our spiritual lives. We gather together to worship, pray, study God’s Word, and experience His presence. But what God pours into us was never meant to stop with us!

We are called to carry the love of Jesus beyond the four walls of the church. Into our homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, prisons, recovery centers, and communities.

God doesn’t just want to bless you. He wants to work through you to bless others!

TODAY’S CHALLENGE: Ask yourself, am I simply receiving from God, or am I allowing what He has given me to flow into the lives of others?

PRAYER: Father, thank You for the living water that brings life and restoration. Help me become a vessel through which Your love and truth can flow. Use my life to reach others for Jesus. Amen.

TOMORROW NIGHT AT KINGDOM RECOVERY!

There is something powerful about hearing someone’s testimony! When we hear how Jesus has transformed someone’s life, it reminds us that no one is too far gone, no situation is hopeless, and God is still in the business of restoring broken lives!

Tomorrow night, Rachel Maryan will be sharing her testimony at Kingdom Recovery!

The Bible tells us in Revelation 12:11 that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony!

You never know how someone else’s story might be exactly what you need to hear. Maybe you are struggling with addiction, trauma, grief, codependency, failure, or simply trying to find your way back to God. There is hope, healing, and freedom through Jesus Christ!

Come be refreshed. Come be encouraged. Come be surrounded by people who genuinely care about you. You do not have to walk through life alone!

WHAT A POWERFUL SUNDAY AT CULTIVATE CHURCH!

Yesterday was something special! After spending five weeks on sabbatical, seeking the Lord through prayer and His Word, it was such a blessing to be back with my church family! And I came back with a FIRE IN MY BONES!

The presence of the Holy Spirit was so heavy in the room! Our praise and worship team did an incredible job leading us into worship. I am so thankful for their hearts, their dedication, and their willingness to serve Jesus. God was glorified!

Yesterday, we began our new sermon series, River Church: Fire In My Bones. I believe God is calling us into a new season of spiritual growth, discipleship, and multiplication!

A lake collects. A river carries!

We are not called to simply gather on Sunday mornings, but to carry the presence of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ into our communities, workplaces, neighborhoods, prisons, recovery centers, and wherever He sends us!

One of the most powerful moments yesterday was seeing people respond to the call of God and be commissioned to GO! To be witnesses, to share their testimonies, to make disciples, and to carry the Gospel beyond the four walls of the church!

Church, I believe we are stepping into something greater than ourselves. God is raising up disciples who will make disciples, leaders who will raise leaders, and a church that will carry the Gospel until all have heard!

TO BECOME SENT ONES, WE MUST FIRST BECOME BURNING ONES!

I love my Cultivate Church family, and I am excited for what God is doing and what is still to come! All glory belongs to Jesus!
