Coming out is a different journey for everyone, and there is no right or wrong way to navigate it. For some, it’s a moment of freedom and celebration. For others, it’s a process that takes time, courage, and a whole lot of strength.

Remember, you never owe anyone an explanation of who you are or who you love. Your story is yours to tell, on your own terms and in your own time.

This month, we celebrate the voices, stories, courage, and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community. We honor the trailblazers who fought for equality, the activists who challenged injustice, and the countless individuals who dared to live authentically, even when the world made it difficult.

LGBTQ+ history is a story of love, resistance, progress, and the ongoing fight for acceptance and equal rights. While we celebrate how far we’ve come, we also recognize the work that still lies ahead.

Grab your pups and come say hi to us in Frenchtown on October 3rd with other vendors! We’ll be hanging out at the Vendor Fair after the parade and would love to see some familiar faces — and, of course, meet ALL the dogs. 🐕💕

What a night! 🏳️‍🌈🎬🏳️‍⚧️

First, a HUGE thank you to Ratterman Theatres for welcoming Pride St. Charles and hosting our showing of The Birdcage tonight!

We absolutely love supporting a locally owned and operated independent theater right here in O’Fallon — and we love even more when local businesses show up for and support the LGBTQ+ community. ❤️ Your theater is such a fun, unique addition to our community, and we are incredibly grateful for the support you’ve shown Pride St. Charles.

It’s official: Ratterman Theatres is Pride St. Charles approved! 🌈🍿

A very special thank you to PFLAG Greater St. Louis for joining us before the movie and being such an incredible resource for our community. PFLAG provides support, education, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ people, their parents, families, friends, and allies — and we’re so grateful to have organizations like PFLAG standing alongside our community.

And finally, THANK YOU to everyone who came out tonight! Seeing such a great crowd show up to watch a classic, laugh together, connect with one another, and support Pride St. Charles meant more to us than you know.
