SPCA "Welcome Summer" Garage Sale near Auto Zone on Saturday, May 13, 9 am - 2 pm

HUGE sale at 116 North 10th St, Olean on Saturday, May 13, 9 am - 2 pm. All proceeds from the garage sale benefit the animals of the SPCA in Cattaraugus County, whom we hope will soon find "forever" homes! Please note this garage sale is NOT at the shelter itself.

The rain date for the sale is Sunday, May 14, 9 am - 2 pm ... Yes, it's mother's day, but don't mothers love garage saling?!

So ... What are you waiting for? Mark your calendar! If you can imagine it, we have it! Household items, books on every subject, Athena 2000 sewing machine, "Dolly Dell" toy iron from '50s, vintage '60s manual typewriter & adding machines with beautiful keys, lamps, office supplies, 4 Hankook Icebear snow tires 205/50 R17 good tread, etc. And, of course, pet supplies because that's what we're all about!

If you can't yet adopt a dog who runs, plays, & eats, come adopt a few of their "stuffed" versions. Bubba Bear is a big boy who can stand in for one of our 80-pound puppies, doesn't eat a thing, and just sits around all day looking cute (he'd REALLY grab attention riding shotgun in your car).

UPDATE - DOG HAS RETURNED HOME!!
Missing dog - last seen 4/28 in Allegany St Park near Fire Tower Trailhead. Her name is Daisy and she is a reactive and scared dog. Please call Camp Turner if you have any info, 716-354-4555. Thank you.

URGENT - Angus still needs to be re-homed. He was adopted from the SPCA back in 2014. Angus' owner passed away and her relatives are not able to care for him. Angus is a great cat - he is almost 3 yrs old, neutered, very friendly, and enjoys attention. PLEASE SHARE this post. The SPCA will be having a cat/kitten adoption event, “Fall in Love”, on Saturday November 5th from noon – 6pm. We have almost 200 cats and kittens at the shelter that need loving homes. We will have reduced cat/kitten adoption fees including special incentives for those adopting more than 1 cat/kitten. We also have a cat gift basket and certificate for a photo session with Martin Studio that all cat/kitten adopters will be entered to win. The reduced fees will be published 1 week prior to the event.

Did you know that October is National Pit Bull Awareness month?
Did you know that pit bulls are one of the most over looked breeds in most shelters?
Here at our shelter we have many sweet & loving pits & pit mixes just waiting for a forever home. So in honor of National pit bull awareness month & for our sweet cuddly bully's that are waiting for their chance for the entire month of October any pit or bully breed adopted from our shelter will receive a fun filled gift basket to enjoy & help kick off their new life with their new family! So please come on down and meet our sweet bully's ....you'll be glad you did!
