Being a cowgirl is more than horses, boots, buckles, and crowns. It’s about hard work, confidence, character, and always getting back up when you fall.

What a bittersweet weekend. 💙👑

To our outgoing 2025 Mountain Rodeo Association Royalty—Queen Sadie McCormick, Princess Bailey Gibbs, Little Miss Delilah Rodriguez, and Tiny Princess Vivian Rodriguez—thank you for an incredible year.

Watching you take your final royalty lap around our arena was one of those moments that hits you right in the heart. Over the past year, you have represented MRA with pride, kindness, hard work, and so much heart. We have watched you grow, laugh, learn, make memories, and build friendships that I hope last far beyond the crown.

Thank you for every early morning, every long day, every flag carried, every little cowgirl you stopped to talk to, and every time you proudly represented the Mountain Rodeo Association. You have each left your own special mark on this program, and I am so proud of you. 💙

And now, a new chapter begins…

To our newly crowned 2026 Royalty—Queen Afton Henderson, Princess Lucy Lee, Little Miss Peyton Fisher, and Tiny Princess Jaxlynn Bischel—this rodeo weekend officially started your reign! 👑

I am so excited for the year ahead. There will be rodeos and parades, early mornings and late nights, lots of pictures, plenty of laughs, probably a little dirt and chaos, and adventures we don’t even know are coming yet. But more than anything, there will be memories.

My hope is that when your year comes to an end, you look back and realize that the crown was only a small part of what made this experience so special.

Here’s to honoring the girls who came before, welcoming the girls who are stepping into their boots, and starting another beautiful year of keeping the tradition alive by honoring the past and teaching the future. 💙👑🐴

2026 girls… our adventure officially begins now. Let’s make it a year to remember!

I can’t put into words how proud I am of every single one of these girls who stepped up and ran for Mountain Rodeo Association Royalty this year. 💙👑

What everyone sees on competition weekend is only a small part of the work they’ve put in. Friday night practices, volunteer hours, selling raffle tickets, working with their horses, practicing speeches and interviews — these girls showed up and worked hard.

A huge thank you to their parents and families for getting them to practices, hauling horses, and supporting them throughout this entire journey. It truly takes a team!

No matter whose name is called or what title is earned, I hope every one of these girls walks away proud. The growth, confidence, friendships, memories, and lessons gained through this experience mean so much more than a crown.

Girls, I am incredibly proud of you and everything you accomplished. You showed up, worked hard, and represented Mountain Rodeo Association with pride. 💙🤠
