The Spruce Pine Lions Club hosts Troutacular at Riverside Park in Spruce Pine. The Lions are located at the amphitheater in the park. There you can register your youth and they can become eligible for state and local prizes. Local prizes and giveaways vary every year based on funding and donations so make sure to keep up with our page to see what is being given away. What do you do with all those fish you catch (bag limit 7)? The Grassy Creek Baptist Church Armor Bearers Ministry is there to voluntarily clean your fish and put them on ice. Things To Consider:
Wildlife officers are always present. They can answer any questions you have and are there to help preserve our natural resources. You are allowed to help your youth fish, (i.e. casting and landing fish,) but if you appear to be fishing and your youth is not involved you can be ticketed. Also, The Lions Club, will provide a limited amount of loner fishing poles and tackle, but it will be on a first come first serve basis. We can’t wait to see all the smiling faces from youth and adults alike!
