Be sure to visit the St Clair County Fair tonight and tomorrow!! They have graciously let us set up a booth to continue the growth of our program and continue to raise funds in Mr Vann’s honor. The Springville FFA was also able to compete today, and we are super proud of all of their hard work!!

As many of you know, Springville High School unexpectedly lost their amazing agricultural teacher of 17 years, Lamar Vann. Lamar was a pillar to our community and has positively impacted everyone around him. The classes have been working on something called The VLB Project. VLB stands for Vann’s Lil Buddies, which was his nickname for his students. Everything donated will be in his honor to continue the growth of his agriculture classroom, and this page will be passed over to their future teacher. As of right now, we have wishlists at Harrison Supply and Central Feed and Seed. I am working with other businesses to have lists at as well and will update this page as it happens. The students would be so grateful if you could purchase an item or two while shopping in these local businesses or even purchase a gift card from them to go towards some of the larger items they are in need of. I will also be posting an Amazon wishlist on this page. If you have a business that would be interested in helping our program, please feel free to email me at [email protected]. His “Lil’ Buddies” will forever be grateful for your generosity, and everything donated will be used for years to come. It’s truly been incredible witnessing his students find a positive and beneficial outcome during such a difficult time, and we would love for the community to be a part of it. Thank you so much for your love and support!!
